RN - Progressive Care Unit

Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA or ARC); Minimum 2 yrs of PCU RN Experience Required Immunizations: MMR, Varicella or Declination, Hep B or Declination, Flu or Declination, TB Ideal Candidate: Able to pick up 2 shifts per week, work 2 weekends every 6 weeks, and 1 major + 1 minor holiday annually. What you will be doing: PCU RNs at Bradley Medical Center care for patients transitioning from ICU or requiring closer monitoring than a standard med-surg floor. Daily duties include continuous cardiac monitoring, managing telemetry, administering medications, and assessing for changes in patient status. RNs respond quickly to fluctuations in vitals, titrate medications as ordered, and coordinate with physicians on evolving care plans. They also educate patients and families, document progress closely, and ensure smooth transitions to lower or higher levels of care as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
