As HVAC - located in Magna, UT , you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Primary assignment is in the Maintenance Department - HVAC, performing activities and tasks associated with the corrective maintenance and construction of designated buildings within the Bacchus plant.

This position will work a 4/10 schedule.

In this job, you will:

• Position requires the knowledge and experience to understand and troubleshoot from electrical/instrumentation schematics.
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair of HVAC systems across the plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair typical industrial electrical equipment, i.e. perform maintenance on robotics, air compressors, electric generators, DC & AC motor controllers, overhead cranes, hydraulics, pneumatics, camera systems, and security systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, install raceways, enclosures, lighting systems, wiring systems/devices, motors, pumps and related industrial electrical equipment

• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass the Safe Explosive Act (SEA) background check.
• Troubleshooting of Refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic and ambition
• Section 608 EPA Universal Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 year's experience working at a manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of SCADA control systems and how they function.
• Knowledge of screw, reciprocating and scroll chillers
• Steam heat exchangers for hot water loop systems and experience with steam coils.
• Knowledge of Industrial Ventilation
• Install and Maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment and computer climate control systems.
• Welding/brazing and leak checking with an electronic leak detector, evacuating with the use of a micron
• gage and charging of the unit.
• Electrical Wiring including low voltage.
• Understanding Maximo CMMS is a plus
• Building automation systems
• A/C and Refrigeration compressor retrofits
• Service and Installation of natural gas-fired equipment
• Food service equipment service and installation; freezers, refrigerators and ice machines
• Familiar with AC/DC drives, VFD's, and servo systems.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot using electrical/instrumentation schematics.
• Experience working with 480 Volt / 3 phase equipment.
• General experience in electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and instrumentation.
