What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing support for urgent cardiothoracic surgeries, from cath lab to OR and ICU
• Support staff with post-operation care, vein harvesting, and patient management
• Respond to emergency calls and assist with complex cases during scheduled shifts
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care activities accurately in EMR (EPIC system)
• Support patient transitions from ICU to home when stable

What You Need

• PA State RN license
• DEA license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic, ICU, or acute care nursing
• Strong knowledge of vein harvesting and urgent surgical procedures

• Experience working with adult patient populations in surgical settings
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases with confidence
