Founding Campus Partner

In search of 1-2 entrepreneurial and driven students to come on as founding campus partners at SLU and UMSL. Proximity is a student housing platform built to bring transparency to the off-campus search and put the power back in students' hands. Students get misled and scammed by landlords constantly, and those stories just disappear, so the same landlord does it again the next year with zero consequences. Proximity makes those stories permanent, using real reviews to force real accountability. It's the friend who's lived everywhere, for every student. Our matchmaking service pairs students with properties based on their budget and preferences. Long term, we're building the intelligence layer behind every off-campus housing decision: every review, match, tour, and apartment a student walked away from becomes data that makes the next recommendation better, with infinite ways to expand both vertically and horizontally. We launched at WashU in April and, despite being late to the leasing season and with zero paid marketing, we helped facilitate 30+ signed leases and 150+ student inquiries to landlords. I'm looking for passionate students who want to help with student outreach, review collection, landlord outreach, club partnerships, and shaping the playbook for how Proximity expands to its next campus. This is a real operating role, and we want a strategic partner to help shape the roadmap for the future of Proximity.
