Description

• Conduct evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings while developing personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee coordinated care efforts

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, though not required
