This role provides consistent hours—37.5 per week—and is initially structured to cover maternity leave until February 2027, with the exciting potential to extend through the full academic year. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators while supporting students across the district, helping each child achieve greater mobility, confidence, and independence in school life.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for California
• Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to travel between multiple sites within the district

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ physical developmental needs
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
• Document treatment sessions and progress using digital platforms
• Educate families and staff on techniques to support physical growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to student planning
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for students of all abilities
