Are you looking to pivot into investment banking, or continue growing your career within it?
A boutique Cleveland investment bank is looking to add an Analyst to their growing team. This firm works on M&A and capital raising transactions in the lower middle market, and they've built a team people genuinely enjoy showing up for.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting M&A and capital raising deals from sourcing through close, with exposure to 3-5 transactions at a time
- Building pitch materials and playing a real role in deal strategy and execution, not just formatting slides
- Researching market trends, valuation metrics, and the lower middle market landscape
- Managing data rooms and due diligence
- Working directly with business owners, deal teams, and other professionals in the M&A world
What they're looking for
- 1-3 years of investment banking experience, or related experience such as transaction advisory, valuation, or other relevant finance backgrounds
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling skills (pro forma statements, valuation models) and Excel/Office expertise
- Sharp writing and research skills, you can take a mountain of data and turn it into something useful
- SIE and Series 79, or willingness to obtain within 18 months
- A self-starter mentality and genuine interest in learning
