Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to formulate tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving their personal functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor proficiency, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide thorough, integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge of therapy techniques with patients and their families to ensure progress is sustained at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt therapy plans as necessary to keep patients moving toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement for ongoing education and advanced certifications.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
