Marketing Specialist

This role is responsible for collaborating with the Experiential Marketing team and cross-functional partners to execute marketing initiatives across 70+ showroom markets. Duties include coordinating event logistics, developing marketing assets, supporting showroom teams with events and openings, and executing local marketing programs. How success is defined: Facilitate the planning and execution of showroom events, activations, new showroom openings, and experiential marketing initiatives across showroom markets. Coordinate event logistics, including timelines, vendors, permits, licensing, documentation, and deliverables to support successful execution. Manage event budgets, expenses, and invoices, including tracking and reconciliation, and support post-event reporting and recaps. Administer and support event management platforms, including Splash, and maintain project trackers, calendars, timelines, and documentation. Develop and coordinate the production of marketing collateral, including print and digital invitations, signage, in-store materials, email campaigns, landing pages, social media assets, and presentations. Coordinate the timely delivery of marketing assets with internal teams and external vendors while ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and quality across all materials. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail, showroom teams, and external partners to support showroom events, openings, and local marketing initiatives. Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while maintaining a consistent presence in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams. What you will bring: 4 - 7 years' previous experience in marketing, event planning, project coordination, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating systems and programs, including Microsoft 365; experience with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and event management platforms preferred. Experience in luxury retail, interior design, home furnishings, and/or the design industry a plus. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and demonstrated project management capabilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, deadlines, vendors, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this role. Compensation Range: $60,000 - $65,000 Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
