In this role, you'll be the technical backbone of our facility operations, ensuring optimal performance across all building systems while leveraging advanced mechanical knowledge and automated controls. You'll play a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and comfortable environments that directly support JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge building technologies while making a tangible impact on facility performance and energy efficiency.What this job involves:Lead maintenance operations for comprehensive building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems, applying strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplinesOperate and optimize sophisticated building automation systems to control HVAC equipment, lighting, and energy management functions using platforms such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell, Siemens, or TridiumPerform complex troubleshooting on commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, variable air volume systems, and rooftop units, executing repairs from routine maintenance to major component replacementManage electrical systems including power distribution, lighting controls, and emergency power systems; troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate with contractors for major repairs or installationsOversee plumbing and water systems maintenance including domestic water, fire protection systems, and water treatment equipment while ensuring code complianceProgram control sequences, analyze system performance data, and implement advanced energy conservation strategiesMaintain detailed service records and utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for documentation and trackingRequired Qualifications:5+ years of comprehensive building maintenance experience with demonstrated competency across multiple building systems and specialized HVAC expertiseStrong working knowledge of commercial building systems including electrical distribution, plumbing systems, fire safety equipment, and security systemsAdvanced understanding of HVAC equipment operation, maintenance, and optimization strategies including refrigeration cycles, air distribution systems, and energy efficiency principlesProficiency with major building automation systems such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell, Siemens, or Tridium platforms with ability to program basic control sequencesProfessional certifications including EPA 608 Universal and electrical fundamentalsValid driver's license for travel between multiple facilities if requiredPhysical capability to lift equipment of minimum 50 pounds and work at heights using appropriate safety equipmentPreferred Qualifications:Additional certifications in building automation, energy management, or facilities managementExperience with variable frequency drives, DDC controls, and pneumatic control systemsElectrical troubleshooting skills for motors, control circuits, and power distribution equipment with understanding of electrical codes and lockout/tagout protocolsMechanical aptitude for pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical drive systems with knowledge of water treatment and plumbing codesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation with strong analytical skills for interpreting system data and performance metricsExperience working in diverse building environments including mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, rooftops, and confined spacesAvailability for emergency response during off-hours and weekendsLocation: Onsite, Cumberland,GAWork Shift: Standard business hours with availability for emergency response during off-hours and weekendsSalary: $30 to $32 per hourThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
