Machine Operator

Position Title Machine Operator Shift F2: 5:00pm - 5:30am, Sunday - Thursday, and every other Wednesday Shift B2: 5:00pm - 5:30am, Thursday - Saturday, and every other Wednesday Pay Rate: $23.53/hour This position is only open to associates already working on assignment at Terumo through QPS. Machine Operator Responsibilities Take ownership over all aspects of automated processes and procedures including safety, quality and efficiencies Apply extensive knowledge to adhere to GMP compliance on the manufacturing floor Operate automated equipment along with associated work cells including start up and shut down Assist Maintenance Technicians with Category II Preventative Maintenance Work with and assist engineers, leadership, and technicians in problem solving of quality and safety, production process and raw material issues Ensure efficiency of material loading and unloading for automated processes Conduct thorough practices with inspecting, packaging, and labeling of product Assist with process verifications and initiates work orders for automated processes Contribute to resolution and sorting of PDF products and processes Assist engineers in prototyping, specialty builds, testing, validations and implementing new materials, designs and process improvements; must record data as necessary. Assist with covering areas in material handling Assist leadership with floor coverage and coordination Requirements for Machine Operator High School Diploma or GED Experience in Process Control (PC) testing and molding/welding quality requirements preferred Working knowledge with HMI interactions preferred Process knowledge of the Auto Cell and RF work centers preferred Demonstrated knowledge and maintained competency in all areas required at the assembler level Knowledge and understanding of safety protocols required for operating automated and semi-automated equipment Able to work overtime as needed Benefits QPS offers healthcare insurance through American Workforce after 4 weeks on assignment and paid holidays after 960 worked hours.
