Registration Representative Pediatric CardiologyThe Registration Representative will:Proficient in the patient registration and scheduling requirements of the Outpatient functionsAct as the financial interpreter for patients by advising them of their financial responsibilities. Provide patients or their legal representative with concise and easily understood information about their healthcare coverage.Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls for department.Schedule outpatient services.Perform registration process in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.Possess a thorough understanding of all other operational functions within the department. Demonstrate proficiency in downtime procedures.Requirements:Medical Terminology requiredBilingual English/Spanish strongly preferredICD coding experienceStrong customer service skillsKnowledge of third party payer, federal and state regulations desiredHighly motivatedEnthusiastic team playerSalary Range: 17.30 - 23.36 USDWe offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.
