Become an Arborist - Start Your Career in Tree Care

Start a Career as an Arborist with Bratt Tree

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team? At Bratt Tree, we're looking for motivated individuals who want to build a career—not just have a job. This is a ground-up opportunity to learn the arboriculture trade from experienced professionals. Whether you're new to the industry or looking to grow your skills, we'll help you develop into a skilled arborist through hands-on training and real-world experience. Unlike many outdoor jobs, tree care is a year-round career. Our team works throughout the seasons providing professional tree services to homeowners across the Twin Cities. If you bring the right attitude, work ethic, and team mindset, we'll help you build the rest.

What You'll Do As part of our tree care team, you'll work alongside experienced arborists and climbers to learn the skills of professional tree care. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting crews with tree trimming, pruning, and removals
• Learning proper rigging, climbing, and arborist techniques
• Operating equipment such as chainsaws, and rigging gear
• Supporting climbers and foremen to ensure safe and efficient job sites
• Helping maintain clean, professional work sites
• Learning industry best practices and ISA arboriculture standards

This role is the first step in becoming a professional arborist with opportunities to grow into climbing, crew leadership, and advanced tree care roles.

What We're Looking For We're searching for team members who:

• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons
• Are team players who support their crew
• Want to build a long-term career
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Are willing to learn and grow their skills

No prior arborist experience is required—we will train the right person.
