We are seeking a motivated and hands-onShift Supervisorto lead daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, achieving production goals, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and support production employees during assigned shifts.Ensure production schedules and daily output goals are achieved while maintaining quality standards.Enforce company policies and procedures, including food safety, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA requirements.Monitor production operations and address issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.Conduct shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety updates, and operational priorities.Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.Complete production reports, shift documentation, and other operational records accurately and on time.Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Address employee concerns and escalate issues as needed.Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.Minimum of2 years of leadership or supervisory experiencein a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred.Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety regulations, and OSHA standards.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas when required.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the workday.
