About This Role The Registered Nurse in the NICU at Hackensack Meridian Health provides individualized patient care based on evidence‑based practices and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Full‑time, Night shift What You’ll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family‑centered education to optimize health and wellness. Participate in multi‑disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) months of nursing experience required or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program NICU experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire NRP certification preferred Pediatric IV therapy and bereavement certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
