Job Description: Position Overview The Department of Biology invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Biology beginning September 2026. We seek an engaged, student-centered educator, ideally with expertise in Anatomy & Physiology or a related health sciences field, who is passionate about teaching in a liberal arts and pre-professional environment. This position plays a key role in supporting both the Biology and Nursing programs and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse population of undergraduate students preparing for health-related careers. - Teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses, including:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Introductory Biology
- Nutrition
- Contribute to upper-level elective offerings in the candidate's area of expertise
- Employ inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices that support student success
- Participate in departmental service and collaborative initiatives
- The standard teaching expectation is four courses per semester, which may include lecture and laboratory sections.

Requirements: Required:
- Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field (completed by start date)
- Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
- Experience teaching or strong interest in Anatomy & Physiology
- Postdoctoral experience
- Experience teaching students in health-related or pre-professional programs
