Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2720.00/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide pre-op, PACU, and circulating scrub support for a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, with a strong background in orthopedic, general surgery, and C-section procedures, and will support a flexible schedule including call and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Circulate during surgeries, managing instruments and assisting the surgical team as needed.
  
  
• 
  Scrub in for procedures when required, demonstrating proficiency with sterile techniques.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during perioperative care.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical activities accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Support pre-op and post-anesthesia care activities, maintaining continuity of patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of OR experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic, general, and C-section procedures.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit flexibility with scheduling, including call, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.
