Data Center Project Engineer (Lead Level)The Data Center Project Engineer (Lead Level) serves as a senior technical leader responsible for the design, deployment, and delivery of physical infrastructure and networking solutions within enterprise, colocation, and hyperscale data center environments. Reporting to the Data Center Field Engineering Practice Lead, this role provides end-to-end ownership of complex infrastructure implementations, including structured cabling systems, fiber optic networks, rack-and-stack deployments, and data center networking infrastructure.This is a highly visible customer-facing position that bridges engineering design and field execution. The successful candidate will lead onsite deployments, coordinate technicians and subcontractors, oversee quality assurance efforts, and ensure all deliverables meet technical, operational, and customer standards. This role requires extensive travel (80-90%) and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, construction-based data center environments.Some of the core areas the team will be looking for include: enterprise or colocation data center experience, strong structured cabling and fiber knowledge, including Cat6A and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber, rack-and-stack and physical infrastructure deployment experience, understanding of modern data center networking and spine-leaf architecture, experience leading technicians, subcontractors, and onsite deployments. Strong documentation, QA/QC, and customer-facing experience.This role requires 80-90% travel Pay rate: $70-75/hr
