Details Operating Room department in a hospital setting Day shift schedule working 4x10s from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM On-call responsibilities of 6-8 shifts per month (1-2 per week) Weeknight call runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM the next morning Weekend call is a 24-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Rotating weekends required, every other weekend Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Circulator experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted) Robotics experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Serve as a key member of the surgical team, working with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ORTs to provide patient care in the Operating Room Ensure adequate supplies, maintain timeliness of cases, and communicate with patients' families Update physician preference cards and assist with scrubbing in for surgical cases as needed Supervise personnel delivering patient care during surgical procedures Follow AORN standards, State Nurse Practice Act, and hospital/department policies and procedures Requests for time off must be less than one week in duration Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-747095.
