Job Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) for a contract role. The ideal candidate will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal results
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols
• Maintain quality and accuracy of radiographic images
• Document patient care and completed exams accurately
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor and manage radiology supply inventory
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
• Participate in continuing education and maintain certifications
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) license required
• ARRT certification required
• Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
