Console Operator I

Job Summary:

The Console Operator is responsible for operating coating line and applying urethane to back of turf. This position is night shift 7p-7a Monday through Thursday and is based out of the Calhoun, GA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use console HMI and buttons to operate coating line

• Complete start-up and shut-down checklists

• Control blender head and pumps to apply urethane to turf

• Maintain urethane puddle to ensure it does not run out

• Ensure cup weight and chemical ratios are set correctly for product

• Ensure correct formula of urethane is being applied

• Ensure correct urethane weight is being applied

• Change line speed as required

• Maintain alignment of finger bar and plates

• Ensure tenter systems are functioning correctly

• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as required

• Notify supervisor and maintenance of equipment problems or breakdowns

• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

• Ability to solve practical problems

• Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs and Safety Data Sheets

• Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisor, and line operators
