Job Summary A Fire Alarm Designer is responsible for using AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate and clear design documents, schematics, and layouts of fire alarm systems. Pay Range 40.00/hour - 48.00/hour Key Responsibilities Design and specify detailed fire alarm and clean agent fire suppression systems adhering to local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards. Perform field surveys and attend project specific meetings. Conduct thorough reviews of construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with the scope of work and jurisdictional requirements. Provide expert technical advice and solutions to complex design challenges. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client teams to ensure specifications and designs meet quality and safety standards. Manage and oversee multiple design projects from concept through completion. Prepare design packages for permit applications and make corrections as needed. Maintain strong working relationships with the Hiller technicians and office staff to facilitate effective communications and exceptional customer service.
