Tig Welder

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will be using specialized equipment to weld and assemble new Tube Duct and Sheet Metal. Essential Functions Perform precision TIG welding on a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications. Execute weld processes as per AWS D17.1. Prepare and align metal components before welding, ensuring proper fit and measurement. Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance. Assist in training and developing others within the team. Operate welding equipment including TIG machines, grinders, and buffing tools. Procedures and Responsibilities Ensure all welding work meets blueprint, dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards. Regulate gas flow and pressure using cylinder gauges or valves. Maintain safety protocols and ensure proper operation of welding equipment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, and coworkers. Keep equipment clean and orderly. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to meet tight deadlines and strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Detail-oriented. Peripheral Duties Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner. Assist in formulating a strategic plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, unique smells, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and other dangers associated with manufacturing (cutting, deburring, etc.). CPI has safety equipment and safety standards in place to help maintain a safe work environment. Working Hours Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis.
