IT Specialist

Unidor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's IT systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems Install and configure computer systems, applications, and peripherals Monitor and maintain computer networks, including security and performance Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements Manage and maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain data security standards Document and maintain IT procedures and processes for future reference Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
