Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will have the privilege of utilizing advanced ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic procedures while partnering with a nurturing team of clinicians to ensure patients receive timely and accurate imaging that brings peace of mind.

Responsibilities You Will Embrace
  • Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, thoughtfully explaining each step along the way
  • Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the quality of diagnostic images
  • Handle and maintain imaging equipment responsibly, promptly addressing any malfunctions
  • Document procedures accurately and manage patient records diligently within the electronic medical system
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices
Education and Credentials Required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
  • Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Certifications Needed
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is an asset
