Automation Engineer

Opening with our client for an Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation and PLC programming to support industrial projects across a variety of sectors. This role involves extensive travel (up to 70%) to client sites and offers the opportunity to work on complex control systems for OEMs, end users, and EPC firms.
- Deliver Process Control Engineering services including specification, configuration, engineering, and startup of automation systems
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and project requirements
- Support client sites throughout the project lifecycle, from kickoff to commissioning
- Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met on every project
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering and PLC programming
- Strong understanding of control system design and industrial automation
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
