RN Registered Nurse

Schedule: 1.0FTE- 4 10hour shifts- 7am-5:30pm Location: Eagan - MNGI Digestive Health Salary Range: Starting range $40.39 - $46.45/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education) Retirement: 401(K) with Company Match, Profit Sharing Time Off: Generous PTO, Holiday Pay, Floating Holiday Disability Coverage: Short & Long-Term Disability Family Support: Paid Leave and Disability Performance Incentive: Discretionary Bonus Based On Company, Department, and Individual Goals Key Responsibilities Record patients’ medical history and assessment. Perform INR and glucose testing. Prepare patients for and assist physician in endoscopy procedures. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in the electronic health record. Recovery of sedated patients and discharge assessments. Monitor all aspects of patient care, anticipate patient and physician needs. Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education and disease prevention. Additional Responsibilities May Include: Infusion and injection administration ARM/Biofeedback InterSTIM wire placement and removal Assist with BRAVO Capsule placement Maintain supplies by keeping supplies stock for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed Responding to patient calls while on call (evening, weekend or holiday) At our Vadnais Heights, Lakeville, Northeast Minneapolis and Maple Grove Endoscopy Sites: Admission, recovery, and procedural care of pediatric patients All RNs at the Northeast Minneapolis location will be expected to care for pediatric patients Any and all other duties as assigned Essential Functions: In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and regular attendance is required. One to two years of clinical experience is preferred. GI related experience is preferred. Experience using an Electronic Health Record is required. PACU experience preferred Certifications/Licenses: Current Minnesota Nursing License is required. Must be BLS certified. Pediatric sites require PALS certification for Charge Nurses.
