About the Role As a J&J Cleaning Coordinator, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping and trash disposal. This job is part of the Cleaning Services function and ensures the cleanliness of client and company buildings. Shift 1st & 2nd What You'll Do Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor. Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap. Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc. Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stored in a safe, secure area at all times. Complete a detailed cleaning checklist for each designated area. Follow the company's standardized cleaning process and chemical cleaner procedures. Attend all regular staff meetings and required in‑service training sessions. Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising limited discretion. Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience. Physical ability to perform required tasks: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards. Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. Compensation and Benefits Minimum pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
