District Sales Manager

Job Title: District Sales Manager Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey (Home Base) & Greater New Jersey Area (Field) Job Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the healthcare industry, and will drive sales, meet targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through strategic planning and effective team management. Key Responsibilities Oversee, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and business objectives. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Conduct regular in‑person training sessions, presentations, and performance reviews for the sales team and clients. Present sales strategies and solutions to employees and clients to strengthen partnerships and increase engagement. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize team success. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong client relationships and addressing concerns proactively. Work in‑office at the home base in New Jersey for 2‑3 days per week and spend the remaining days in the field with sales representatives across Greater New Jersey. Conduct field coaching, develop business plans, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Lead sales training, monitor performance metrics, and drive compliance with company policies. Facilitate team collaboration and share best practices. Identify top‑performing representatives for recognition and career growth opportunities. Manage analytics, optimize physician engagement, and support marketing initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline. 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a healthcare environment is preferred. Strong ability to train, coach, and motivate a sales team to exceed targets. Excellent presentation and communication skills for both employees and clients. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to assess performance and drive improvements. Ability to travel across New Jersey on a weekly basis. Salary & Compensation Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 plus commission and a travel stipend. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, location, skills, and job‑related knowledge. Bonus eligible: yes, based on experience and performance. The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Azend Pharma is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills.
