About the Internship

We are seeking a motivated Marketing and Communications Intern who is excited to apply their marketing skills in a growing, purpose-driven business.

This is a hands-on internship. The intern will work directly and collaboratively with the founder and CEO and will take an active role in developing and implementing marketing efforts designed to increase brand awareness, reach new audiences, and drive sales .

At the same time, the intern will receive guidance and education on our social impact work, including gender-based violence, violence against women and girls, gender equality, autonomy, healthy relationships, and related social issues. A key part of the experience will be learning how to translate this subject matter into thoughtful, accessible, and engaging communications for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility, audience engagement, and sales.
• Create, adapt, schedule, and manage content for social media and other digital channels.
• Translate educational and social-impact material provided by the founder into engaging, audience-appropriate marketing and communications content.
• Support marketing efforts for our products, including campaigns designed to increase website traffic, customer engagement, and conversions.
• Help strengthen and grow the organization's social media presence and online community.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, storytelling, audience development, and brand growth.
• Monitor basic marketing and social media performance and use those insights to suggest improvements.
• Collaborate directly with the founder and CEO on marketing priorities and strategy.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a foundation in marketing or communications and is ready to apply those skills in a real-world environment.

• Coursework or practical experience in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or a related field.
• Completion of at least two years of relevant college coursework is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the founder.
• Ability to organize projects and follow through on responsibilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, social media management tools, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Interest in social impact and openness to learning about gender equality, gender-based violence, violence against women and girls, autonomy, and healthy relationships.
• Eager to help grow a purpose-driven brand.

What You'll Gain

This internship provides an opportunity to build a portfolio through real-world marketing projects and campaigns while gaining experience in an early-stage social enterprise.

The intern will work directly with the founder and gain specialized knowledge about communicating sensitive and complex social issues, particularly those related to gender equality and the prevention of violence against women and girls. The experience will combine mission-driven communications with practical marketing, audience development, and sales-focused initiatives .

Because we are an early-stage organization, the intern will also have an opportunity to contribute ideas and have a meaningful role in shaping our marketing approach.

Time Commitment

Approximately 10 hours per week , with flexibility in scheduling.

Duration: Approximately 3–6 months , with the possibility of extending the internship by mutual agreement.

Location: Remote.

Compensation and Future Opportunities

Courageous Harmony LLC is an early-stage organization, and we are not currently in a position to offer full compensation. However, there is an Additional Sales Incentive: In addition to the $100 monthly stipend, the intern will be eligible to receive 5% of gross sales on non-returned purchases during the internship period . Additional details will be discussed during the interview. This internship does not guarantee future employment. As the business grows, there may be opportunities for future paid work or expanded responsibilities.
