System Analyst

Business Analyst

Location: Franklin TN (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements for the Customer 360 program.
• Translate high-level business needs into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and maintain the Jira board, ensuring proper sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task prioritization.
• Assign tasks to the development team and track progress throughout the sprint cycle.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure alignment with Agile principles and best practices across the team.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Nissan IS teams, and technical teams.
• Understand data flows and validate requirements using SQL for basic data checks and analysis.
• Support the Customer 360 roadmap by coordinating cross-functional dependencies and ensuring timely delivery.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and drive resolutions.

Required Skills:

• Experience Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
• At least 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, Jira boards, Sprint ceremonies, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Ability to assign, prioritize, and track tasks for the development team.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and understanding data models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and technical groups.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in automotive industry, especially consumer-facing or customer experience applications.
• Familiarity with Customer 360, CRM systems, or customer data platforms.
• Understanding of data pipelines, cloud platforms, or analytics tools (AWS/Snowflake experience is a plus).
