Senior Property Manager

RETS Associates has been retained by our client, a privately held, family-owned real estate firm, to recruit a Senior Property & Leasing Manager in Hayward, CA. This is a full-time on-site role to oversee the day-to-day leasing and property operations of the company’s commercial real estate portfolio consisting of approximately 500,000 square feet, consisting primarily of office, industrial, and retail assets. This role will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy, strong tenant relationships, and efficient property operations, while working closely with ownership on performance and key initiatives.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role within a small, team-oriented organization, offering direct interaction with ownership and the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities over time.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- 8+ years of commercial property management and leasing experience required. Candidates with only residential/multifamily experience will not be considered.
- Must have hands-on new and renewal lease negotiation experience to be considered.
- Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Yardi) and Microsoft Office
- California Real Estate License required and a Broker’s License is preferred, or willingness to obtain
Compensation: Base salary range of $145K+ DOE, plus discretionary bonus.
