Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License required
• Valid (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions and strategies to the needs of diverse student populations
• Dedication to fostering student growth and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to determine occupational therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct OT services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices to address motor, sensory, and self-care skills as outlined in IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into classroom routines and home activities
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of progress, treatment sessions, and ongoing assessments
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to the development and review of IEPs
• Offer training or resources for staff and parents to support the generalization of skills beyond therapy sessions
