Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

We have an opportunity for a forklift operator to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will move material with a forklift to meet production, shipping, and receiving schedules per company safety requirements while also meeting customer quality expectations. Responsibilities Accurately locate materials and complete inventory transactions into Oracle Recharge forklift batteries and/or change propane tanks Pass a written test on safe forklift operations and demonstrate the ability to safely operate a forklift Operate a forklift per defined procedures and safety practices Identify and move raw materials and finished product Inspect forklift and perform preventative maintenance as required Key Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required Previous warehouse receiving and shipping experience preferred Accurately read, count, weigh and measure Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel) Regularly lift 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds and have ability to use lift equipment Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor Position hours/shifts 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday Compensation The hourly pay for this role is: $23.25/hr plus $1.00 shift premium (total $24.25/hr ). Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
