Job Description Summary Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing & Content Strategy, this is a highly strategic, hands‑on role for an experienced digital brand marketer who operates at the intersection of brand storytelling, audience insight, creative judgment and integrated platform strategy at scale. This role supports the digital strategy by translating it into connected content systems across corporate web, social and CEO platforms. The focus is on turning narrative priorities into strategic plans, engaging audience‑led content approaches, platform‑native formats, sharp creative briefs and measurable work that reinforces GE Vernova’s priority messages across digital channels. In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, this person understands not just audience and integrated channel strategy, but also the AI‑driven discovery systems and platform behaviors that shape visibility, relevance and engagement. An AI‑era digital marketer needs creative judgment, the ability to interpret audience and performance signals, and the curiosity to test new tools, formats and ways of working. This role requires a hands‑on strategist who can both think and do: connect audiences, narratives and platforms into a coherent digital content system, while also shaping briefs, guiding creative development, evaluating and writing quality content and partnering with agencies and global cross‑functional internal teams to bring powerful work to market. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Digital Strategy & Content Systems Translate the digital strategy into connected content systems across channels, audiences, content themes and measurement signals, ensuring web, social and CEO platforms work together to reinforce priority narratives. Apply and codify audience needs, platform roles, content criteria and success metrics to guide consistent, high‑impact storytelling. Translate business priorities into content series, creative briefs, platform‑native formats and integrated content plans. Identify and build repeatable storytelling models that can scale across themes such as future of energy, innovation, culture and executive thought leadership. Creative Strategy & Content Development Shape clear, strategic briefs that help internal teams and agency partners develop bold, fresh, on‑brand creative. Pressure‑test creative ideas against audience needs, platform behavior, brand standards and business priorities. Write, edit, and elevate high‑stakes content: brand storytelling, campaigns, thought leadership, and channel‑specific copy Review and strengthen content across channels to ensure clarity, quality, consistency and platform fit. Push work and raise the creative bar while maintaining strategic and brand alignment. Platform Quality & Standards Support quality management and oversight across CEO and brand platforms, helping ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, reputational standards and platform best practices. Help establish content standards and decision frameworks to guide internal teams and agency partners. Collaboratively partner across stakeholders on high‑visibility content requiring strong judgment, editorial discipline and senior stakeholder alignment. Performance, Insights & Optimization Interpret performance data, audience behavior, competitive signals and platform trends to inform recommendations and prioritization. Leverage AI‑driven discovery insights to improve content structure, visibility and authority across platforms. Prepare executive‑level insights and presentations that clarify what is working, what we are learning and where to focus next. Integrated Planning & Stakeholder Alignment Help align agencies and internal teams around a focused set of high‑impact priorities across web, social, CEO and campaign activity. Seamlessly partner across global Communications, Brand, Marketing, Digital Technology and business teams to support a more unified digital presence. Manage agency partners as strategic collaborators, translating clear direction into stronger creative output and ensuring work stays aligned to brand, business and performance goals. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, brand strategy, content strategy or integrated communications, with both in‑house and agency experience strongly preferred. Experience leading digital marketing or content strategy for a global brand, with Fortune 500 or start‑up experience strongly preferred. Agency or consulting‑side experience supporting enterprise brands, executive visibility, corporate reputation or integrated digital campaigns preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Success in this Role Passion for our mission and the relentless optimism to see the possibilities ahead is a must. Clear, confident, influential communication skills, both written and verbal. Deep understanding of combined digital platforms and ecosystems and evolving AI‑driven discovery trends. Data‑driven, analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into clear direction. Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to apply and uphold brand voice at scale. Sharp creative eye for bold, fresh, on‑brand creative, with the ability to push work to new levels. Low ego, high ownership, and a collaborative approach to delivering impact across global, cross‑functional teams and partners. Strong ability to manage multiple strategic and creative workstreams with clarity, urgency and attention to detail. Ability to move fluidly from strategy to execution, from shaping the brief and content model to reviewing creative, interpreting performance and recommending what to scale. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with deep curiosity and a desire to learn and grow. Agile and energized by fast‑moving work and team environment with pivots and rapidly changing inputs. Deep curiosity and early testing of AI technologies, tools, and new ways of working. Experience managing agency partners to deliver breakthrough creative and execution aligned to brand, business and performance goals. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $144,000.00 and $240,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
