Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their goals for functional independence.
• Deliver Therapeutic Sessions: Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and abilities to complete daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques that facilitate continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, modifying treatment plans as required to keep patients on track toward their goals.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged.

Certifications

• Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
