Anesthesiology Cardiac Physician – York, PA | Hospital Opportunity | $406.48/hr

Quick Facts:

• Location: York, PA (1001 South George Street, York, PA 17403)
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date/Duration: Ongoing
• Shift: Day shifts, varied (e.g., 06:15-16:45, 06:30-16:30, 07:00-17:00) - willing to take night beeper call 1-2 nights/week
• Hours/Week: 40-50 hours/week (4-5 ten-hour shifts)
• Employment Type: Full-time contract
• Licensure/Certifications: PA license or IMLC LOQ, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: At least 2 years preferred, cardiac anesthesia experience a plus

What You’ll Do:

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgeries and procedures in a Level I Trauma hospital
• Collaborate with surgeons and specialty clinicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Manage anesthesia plans across a broad case mix, including complex and emergent cases
• Take on night beeper call responsibilities (1-2 nights/week)
• Document procedures accurately in Epic EMR
• Support a team environment focused on safety and excellence in care
• Contribute to patient education and follow-up care

What You Need:

• Valid PA medical license or IMLC LOQ
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience, preferably with cardiac cases
• Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
