American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years experience for a long-term care nursing facility, offering a day shift schedule.
Details:
- Long-term care nursing facility setting with short-term rehabilitation services
- 102-bed facility
- Days shift, 8-hour shifts
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Valid TX Speech-Language Pathology license or compact license required, if applicable
Additional Information:
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and decrease aspiration risk
- Design communication strategies to help residents be better understood and understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure care and services align with established facility policies and procedures
