The Law Offices of Nemeth & Flores is seeking a highly motivated full-time associate tax attorney with a strong work ethic to join our team in our Dallas, Frisco or Fort Worth office. This is an in office position. Experience managing others is strongly preferred. Some federal tax experience is preferred but not required. Salary is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• independently manage case load
• effectively communicate with clients and staff regarding individual and business tax resolution
• research and consult on various tax matters and maintain a current knowledge on developing tax law changes
• represent individual and company clients in IRS resolution matters.
• interface with IRS personnel including Revenue Officers, Appeals Officers, and IRS counsel
• review and understand financial documents and IRS forms
• organize, prioritize, and manage client files to meet deadlines, and effectively progress toward case resolution
• ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form with strong attention to detail
• work independently and as a part of a client-service team
• utilize tax software to conduct final review of tax returns prepared by staff
• supervise, develop and mentor support staff

Qualifications:

• Licensed attorney in good standing. Texas licensing not required.
