We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team and contribute across a range of civil litigation matters.

Position Overview

This role is a general litigation position with a strong emphasis on commercial litigation and employment litigation . The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle cases from inception through resolution, working closely with partners and clients. This position offers meaningful courtroom exposure, hands-on case management, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of general civil litigation matters, with a focus on commercial and employment disputes
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations, hearings, and arbitrations
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Oversee discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and exhibit organization
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure adherence to all deadlines

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing in Texas
• 2-5+ years of litigation experience, ideally including exposure to commercial and/or employment matters
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience handling hearings, depositions, and motion practice
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
