What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical care in a Level IIIB NICU with ~625 annual admissions
• Lead and oversee clinical operations and provider performance
• Implement quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners
• Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Mentor residents in quality improvement and research projects
• Work with a multidisciplinary team including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery
• Utilize advanced neonatal therapies such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy

What You Need

• Required:
  • MD/DO, Board Certified in Neonatology or Pediatrics with subspecialty training
  • Virginia medical license or eligible to obtain one
  • Leadership skills and experience in neonatal care
• Preferred:
  • Academic or teaching experience
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives
