What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee clinical operations in a Level IIIB NICU with approximately 625 admissions annually
• Provide expert neonatal care utilizing advanced therapies such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Mentor residents and medical students, supporting academic growth and scholarly activities
• Participate in teaching, grand rounds, simulation sessions, and research projects
• Support program development and clinical innovation within neonatal services
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery

What You Need

Required:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Neonatology
• Residency in Neonatology with clinical leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
• Licensure in Virginia (or ability to obtain)

Preferred:

• Experience in academic settings or program development
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
