Spring Co-Op 2027, Global Logistics

Vertex Pharmaceuticals

This six-month co-op program places undergraduate or graduate students in Vertex's Global Logistics division to support supply chain strategy, process improvement, and performance analytics across pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

Support strategic projects to improve effectiveness, scalability, and capabilities of Global Logistics operations
Conduct research, benchmarking, and trend analysis to identify logistics industry opportunities and risks
Assist with collection, analysis, and visualization of logistics performance data and KPI development
Analyze logistics data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities for business decisions
Gain operational exposure to transportation, warehousing, and pharmaceutical supply chain processes

Requirements

Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or Operations Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Previous internship, co-op, or academic project experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or analytics preferred
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred
Interest in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and automation applications
