Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Technician where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and verification. You will work with advanced measurement systems and contribute to mission-critical projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and product verifications using CMM and Keyence measurement systems.

• Perform First Article Inspection (AS9102) and provide support for PPAP.

• Manage statistical process control (SPC), AQL, and non-conformance documentation.

• Read and interpret blueprints and precision measurement tools.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3-4 years of Quality Inspection/Technician experience within a machine shop environment.

• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, CMM, Zeiss-Calypso, and GD&T.

• Experience with precision parts made by CNC machines.

• Ability to read and understand product drawings including GD&T requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent technical work experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including machining and assembly.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with sophisticated quality inspection equipment such as Coordinate Measurement Machines, laser scanners, and more.

• Experience in a regulated industry with certification to AS9100 or ISO9000.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel.

Work Environment

The position offers a split shift from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, with an alternative first shift available. Work in a climate-controlled facility with air conditioning, and be prepared for occasional exposure to industrial oils, loud noise, and other environmental factors. Safety precautions, including ear protection, are provided. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
