General Manager

General Summary of Job Duties: The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Mi Casa, including but not limited to financial performance, customer service, marketing, and overall management of the restaurant operations.Principle Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for all aspects of Mi Casa Latin Restaurant.Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operation.Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.Organize and supervise shifts.Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.Other duties as assigned.General Job Responsibilities and Duties:Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Be Amazing Service Standards.Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.Regular attendance on all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.Other duties as assigned.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following Silverton Values:Character: Always do the right thing and treat everyone with dignity and respect.Collaboration: Celebrate Diverse ideas, thoughts and talents.Care: Be KIND to yourself and each other.Fun: Our guests are here to have FUN, so we should have FUN, too!Excellence: Be Amazing!Skills, Education & Other Requirements:Extensive experience (5+ years) in restaurant management.Ability to manage a team of employees, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.Adept at implementing new marketing strategies to increase profits, including the creation of a social media presence.Knowledgeable of profit and loss management, food and labor cost control, and inventory management practices.A passion for hospitality and superior customer service.A demonstrated ability to create a great working environment for all staff members.Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).Required Work Cards:Identification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United StatesAlcohol Awareness CardSouthern Nevada Health cardNevada Gaming RegistrationMachinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used:POS SystemMicros SoftWord/excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
