Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gauge patients' physical status, identifying functional limitations and setting measurable goals to guide their treatment.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and dynamic exercise regimens.
• Deliver hands-on treatment such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate the recovery process.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of adhering to their treatment plans, including self-care techniques and prevention strategies that help mitigate future injuries.
• Track and document patient progress accurately, making necessary adjustments to treatment modalities based on their responses and recovery milestones.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all patient interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will focus on a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those dealing with acute and chronic injuries, and patients managing complex musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or in a related field from an accredited program; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, though recent graduates with relevant clinical exposure are invited to apply.
