Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a Level 1 Trauma Center OR, requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Center operating room setting
• Heavy caseload in Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology
• Frequent Vascular, Robotic, Neuro, and Eye cases (excluding cardiac and transplant surgeries)
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM)
• Epic charting system required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including ortho, general, urology, vascular, robotic, and neuro cases
• Does not accept candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to assignment start
• No time off approved during the first week of orientation
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
