Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details: Flexible scheduling offering multiple shift options Pay Range: $99.75 - $159.60 Benefits Incentive Package: Offering up to $140,000 in recruitment incentives; provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements. SRNA Education Assistance: Providing up to $75,000 forgivable loan for Student Anesthetists, given the candidate meets eligibility requirements. While working in the Inpatient Anesthesia Department , you will expand your skillset by working on a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to: Orthopedic, Vascular, Burns, Cardiothoracic (specific team), Neurology, ENT, General/Abdominal, Robotic, Gynecology. Other cases you may experience, outside of the day‑to‑day, include: EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Responsibilities Uses medical decision‑making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri‑operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co‑morbidities and age & developmental guidelines. Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team‑based care. Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives. Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality. Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care. Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources. The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an eligible CRNA program. Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams. Additional Role Detail Functions in a highly specialized area of nursing as an Assistant and Instructor under the direct supervision of an Anesthesiologist.
