Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting near New Bedford, MA. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state of Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in schools or with elementary-aged students preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech therapy for elementary students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and fellow specialists to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and comprehensive reports as required by the school and district standards
- Deliver direct and consultative support in both individual and group settings within the classroom
- Engage in regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding progress, strategies, and resources
- Participate in school team meetings, case conferences, and professional development to ensure high-quality service delivery
