Relief Veterinarian

Overview Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a dependable, compassionate, and skilled Relief Veterinarian to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for veterinarians seeking a flexible schedule while working with a professional and welcoming team. You will work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver high-quality care to our pet patients. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. Our dedicated staff includes receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We offer compassionate and superior care to clients and their companions. Our facility features on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy. What You’ll Do Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans Interpret diagnostic tests including radiographs and lab results Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about diagnoses and treatment options Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree A current ME Veterinary License Previous experience in a small animal practice preferred Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt quickly to different workflows and clinic systems About Rarebreed Veterinary Partners Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is a purpose-driven team that places talent first by supporting professionals to thrive in our industry and empowering hospital teams to provide exceptional care for pets and their owners.
