Express Employment is seeking candidates who will be responsible for safely operating reach trucks to move, store, and retrieve materials in warehouses, optimizing space and supporting efficient supply chain operations.Role and Responsibilities

Reach Truck Operators play a critical role in warehouse operations by handling and organizing inventory efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating reach trucks to move, locate, stack, and retrieve products in narrow-aisle, high-bay storage systems while adhering to safety protocols
• Performing order picking, stock replenishment, and put-away tasks, ensuring correct items and quantities are moved to designated locations
• Conducting pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions
• Using handheld RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately record inventory movements
• Participating in cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
• Collaborating with warehouse staff to optimize storage layout and maximize space utilization

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Certification in forklift or reach truck operation, demonstrating knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, Hi-Lo lifts, and clamp trucks is often preferred
• Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering equipment safely
